Biography

Hi, I’m Mehrdad — a photographer and filmmaker from Iran, born in 1990 and currently based in Armenia.

After graduating as an environmentalist and making my single mom proud, I made the choice to pursue what had always been my true passion: visual storytelling. For the past five years, I’ve been capturing moments through the lens — moments that speak, move, and linger.

Whether I’m behind the camera on a still shoot or directing motion for film, I’m drawn to honest emotion, natural light, and the quiet details that often go unnoticed. My background in environmental studies continues to inspire my work — in the way I see landscapes, light, and life itself.

This is more than a profession to me — it’s a way of connecting with people, stories, and the world.
